How to finish the semester with a BANG after Spring Break
1. Don't neglect your syllabus

You may feel like you're completely lost and have forgotten everything you are supposed to do, especially when coming back from break. A good way for you to get back on track is to go through each syllabus you have. A good tip is to try adding all of you upcoming assignments for the rest of the semester to your calendar so you finish the semester off strong!
2. Eat Breakfast

That’s right, food can actually help you get through the rest of this semester. If you are feeling extremely exhausted and sluggish throughout the day, try eating a full balanced breakfast. I know, this sounds like a nagging grandma telling you to finish your vegetables, however, it is scientifically proven that: “Hunger can lead to lower math scores, attention problems, and behavior, emotional, and academic problems,” this is something that can help you feel more energized throughout the day and keep you full for longer (which can help you not spend money on snacks).
3. Check your grades

It sounds silly, but if checking your grades makes you cringe, then you really should be checking them (especially if you haven’t looked at them all semester). This is a great way for you to see where your current standing is in class, while still giving you enough time to catch up if you’re not feeling great about them.
4. Sleep

I know I know, sleep is impossible for a college student who also works and has a social life and is involved in any and all extracurriculars- BUT, you must find time for yourself. It is proven that there are two ways that sleep can help you as a student, “First, a sleep-deprived person cannot focus attention optimally and therefore cannot learn efficiently. Second, sleep itself has a role in the consolidation of memory, which is essential for learning new information” http://healthysleep.med.harvard.edu/healthy/matters/benefits-of-sleep/learning-memory
5. Start studying EARLY

The best way to get through “cramming” for finals is to- not cram at all. There is an old saying that goes: you don't have to get ready if you stay ready, so do a little bit of studying each day and stay ready for those finals and you won’t have to get ready!
