FREE Food at UNLV Food Pantry
Hungry? Me too, bestie. Worry not! You can kiss your rumbly tummy, “Goodbye!” because all UNLV students get weekly access to one of the best resources on our campus—the UNLV Food Pantry! The UNLV Food Pantry provides non-perishable items to university students, staff, and faculty who need additional food year-round. Simply come in with your RebelCard and one of the attendants will help you with your order.
Make sure to stay in the loop by following @UNLVFoodPantry on Instagram! They host events where they show students how to make various meals from the products available at their location on E Naples Dr and S University Center Dr.
The Pantry will often work in collaboration with the UNLV Nutrition Center to host educational events for students. @UNLVNutritionCenter is accessible via Instagram as well. Their mission is to “help enhance the overall health and well-being of the community through nutrition information and workshops”.
One of the events that the Food Pantry hosts is Rebel Restaurant Week—also in conjunction with a great department at UNLV, the Hospitality Program! The #RebelRestaurantWeek is an opportunity for students to celebrate local Las Vegas restaurants that are affiliated with UNLV. All you do is bring in a non-perishable
food item to @UNLVHospitality to be donated to the Food Pantry. Then you’ll receive a FREE voucher for something special at the featured Rebel Restaurant of the Week.
Some restaurants that the College of Hospitality has featured include Fogo de Chao, Golden Fog Coffee, Vegas Valley Winery, and Pizza Rock!
