Top 5 Places to Eat on Campus
There are so many different and diverse places to grab a bite to eat while you have a break in between your classes. From cafes to a froyo food truck, I encourage that you try any and everything there is to offer. But, these are a few of my faves!

1. Rebel Grounds inside of the Hospitality Hall

Most people don’t know that Rebel Grounds actually serves food. They add and change their menu about every semester. My personal favorite menu item is the Monty Sando, it’s a ham and cheese sandwich with a special sauce on either wheat or honey toast. It is honestly the best sandwich ever. For the spring 2020 semester, they added pizza to their menu, but they also have various muffins, bagels, oats, ice cream, and prepackaged foods. They also have a variety of drinks. I have seen teas, coffees, smoothies, and more!
2. Einstein Bagels inside RLL (Beverly Rogers Literature and Law Building)

This Einstein is one of two on-campus. Although it is a kiosk, it never has a line. It always has the bagel I want and it also has other prepackaged food plus drinks available right next to it. My favorite thing to get here is probably a blueberry bagel with plain cream cheese. They also have coffee at this kiosk which is great if you’re on campus in the morning (or if you need coffee to survive like some of us do).
3. Starbucks inside of the SU (Student Union)

This Starbucks is guaranteed to have a line no matter what time of the day it is. My biggest recommendation is to go before rushes (which has typically be in the morning and around lunchtime) or order through their Grubhub pickup. The best food item is either the reduced-fat turkey bacon breakfast sandwich or the pumpkin bread. They do have other food items just like your local Starbucks would have!
4. Greens to Go in the SRWC (Student Recreation and Wellness Center)

If you’re looking for something on the healthier side, Greens to Go has tons of soups, salads, and wraps. The best thing there is probably the chicken caesar salad in a spinach wrap. Even though it is healthy, it is still super delicious. This place is also great if you just did a workout in the gym getting a smoothie afterward because it’s conveniently located inside the gym.
5. Capstone Cafe in BEH 225

This is probably the most undisclosed lunch option on campus, but also probably the coolest. It is only open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 11 am to 12:45 pm, but it is a 3-course meal for only $10! Each day, there is a different theme from Italian to Mexican, to Barbecue, to Greek, and so much more. This is one place you should try at least once at UNLV.
